I like cocktails. They good.
£63 in charges (£35 and £28) for going £2.07 over my overdraft. Amazing. Halifax will be getting a phonecall from me tomorrow morning.

Stinky Dawn used as a Pawn
How very helpful of Ofcom, releasing their judgement over the ‘stinky Dawn’ Big Brother complaint just before the new season starts on Channel 4.
It’s only taken them two years, very handy that it’s being released so close to the launch of season 9. Nothing dodgy there, eh?

Anything can be salvaged as edible when you’ve got brown sauce in your office drawer.
When you need a second opinion on something being a top or a very short dress, you know you’re too old to be in the shop.

I just found this website yesterday. It’s so handy for sending things to the printer, especially since it takes me about six emails to get the final final final final version out there! The poor printer’s inbox.

I'm Ashamed
After seeing the CCTV footage of Rangers fans on the BBC website today, I’m ashamed of being Scottish, ashamed of living in Glasgow and ashamed that I haven’t helped rid the country of these pathetic lumps of fist and buckfast.
I wasn’t surprised to see the trouble between Rangers fans and the police, nor at the scenes of violence. It’s a common occurence here, where...

Getting your priorities right!
I could smell a sort of ‘burning TCP bleachy’ smell earlier. Turns out it’s my monitor on fire. Fried. Now I need a new one. :(

I love the design of this site.
It’s raining here. Glasgow. Great.
Rose d'Or Awards
I thought the Rose d’Or awards were given to good shows that are creative and ‘groundbreaking’? What are they doing giving awards to Skins and The IT Crowd?! They’re both terrible shows!

I’ll need to find my summer clothes asap. Black and grey just don’t cut it.
Cheating
I ended up cheating a wee bit to get my email sent. My dilemma was solved by exported data and a mail merge in word, sent by email.
I still plan to learn how to do it with PHP and MySQL, I just didn’t have time today. Honest, ‘guv!
Triggering E-mail from a Database
I’m trying to figure out how to trigger an email to a selection of addresses in a database which will, in the body of the email, contain a unique URL derived from a reference in the database for each address.
For example:
To: {email}
Hi _{name}_,
Thank you for booking, please make your additional choices using the unique URL below:

Good Weather
The weather is fantastic here today. According to BBC Weather, it’s 21° in Glasgow. Unfortunately I’m stuck in the office, and it’s freezing. I can’t seem to choose between the fan and the heater today.
I’m going to go for a walk this afternoon to get some lunch and chase the sunshine. Since it’s probably one of the five summer days Scotland gets, I might even...
It’s a hot, bright summery day. It’s also the day i decide to wear my thickest black tights for a reason only god knows.

My current obsession.
James Whale Fired!
James Whale has been fired from TalkSport for urging listeners to vote for Conservative candidate Boris Johnson in London’s mayoral elections.
I’m pretty disappointed. I really enjoy listening to his programme at night when I’m going to bed. He usually riles me up and had great topics of discussion. I wonder where he’s going next, because I’ll definitely listen to...
Oh my. My insomnia is very much suited to MTV.

Speed 2: Cruise Control
I’ve just got around to watching Speed 2: Cruise Control with Sandra Bullock and Jason Patric.
What did I take from it? Not much, other than the fact that Jason Patric looks like Quagmire from Family Guy
